Queen News World / JAKARTA — Carrying the spirit of "Moving, Empowering, and Impacting" echoed during the national declaration in Jakarta on October 1st, the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of Dewi Pertiwi Lampung immediately hit the ground running. As a women's organization serving as a strategic partner of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Dewi Pertiwi is committed to strengthening its network structure down to the district and city levels across Lampung Province.
The General Chairperson of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of PSI, Kaesang Pangarep, in his remarks during the national declaration, expressed full support for Dewi Pertiwi's strategic role. He encouraged the organization to become a primary space for producing more progressive female leaders who bring a direct impact to the wider community.
Echoing this sentiment, the General Chairperson of DPP Dewi Pertiwi, Fenty Noverita, emphasized that the organization's work must genuinely and tangibly exist within society.
"Moving means we are where women need us, not where the cameras are. Empowering means opening the path, then walking side-by-side," Fenty asserted.
This spirit of synergy with PSI and the national instructions were immediately translated by the Chairperson of DPW Dewi Pertiwi Lampung, Melanniati, who attended the declaration in Jakarta. She stated her readiness to quickly weave solidarity and strengthen the basis of local leadership in "Bumi Ruwa Jurai."
"As a strategic partner of PSI in the region, the central instructions from Ketum Kaesang Pangarep and the DPP are very clear. Our challenge in Lampung is to immediately step in to respond to family welfare issues and provide concrete assistance for vulnerable and marginalized groups," said Melanniati.
The main focus areas for the DPW Dewi Pertiwi Lampung movement moving forward include:
